Ojai Food + Wine returns to the Ojai Valley Inn for four days of world-class cuisine and wine. This intimate festival brings together top chefs, sommeliers, and over 100 wineries for private dinners, tastings, and hands-on demos in one of California's most enchanting settings.

The Grand Tasting takes place Sunday, March 8th from 12:30–2:30 PM at the Ojai Valley Inn, 905 Country Club Road. With capped attendance and exceptional access to winemakers, this is one of the most intimate wine events on the California calendar.

Visit Ojai Mountain at the Grand Tasting

Stop by our table to taste the wines that have critics calling this "one of the most exciting new projects in California." We'll be pouring:

2022 Syrah — Deep, opaque, and layered with smoked meats, blackberries, and dark chocolate. The vibrant acidity cuts through the richness, creating a wine built for the cellar.

2024 Estate White — Brilliant minerality with a bracing mouthfeel. Fresh, focused, and electric.

Our team will be on hand to talk through how each wine is grown, what makes mountain viticulture different, and what we have coming out of the cellar this year. If you've visited the estate before, this is a great chance to reconnect. If you haven't, consider this your introduction.

What Makes Ojai Mountain Different

California's highest coastal vineyard and southernmost cool-climate estate, Ojai Mountain sits at 2,800–3,000 feet elevation, just 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The Ojai Valley's rare east-west mountain orientation funnels marine air directly inland, moderating temperatures throughout the growing season.

The result: 40–50°F diurnal temperature swings that preserve acidity and aromatic compounds, fractured Monterey shale soils that force vines to struggle and naturally limit vigor, and a semi-arid climate with extreme variability. These conditions allow us to produce wines with the structure, acidity, and lift that define world-class cool-climate viticulture—tension, not weight.

Ojai Mountain is the southernmost site in California producing cool-climate wines.
